Items of regional historical value from the Aurora Historical Society's collection are shown in varying temporary exhibitions at the David L. Pierce Art & History Center. These range from art shows by current area artists to displays of antique toys and household goods. Located on Stolp Island in the midst of downtown, the museum is right beside the Paramount Theatre performing arts venue and near Hollywood Casino.
