A multi-use entertainment center, Walter Payton's Roundhouse offers an incredible selection of activities for the adult crowd, from sampling beer at the America's Brewing Company brewpub to browsing authentic memorabilia at the Walter Payton Museum. The building was first a turning station for trains that passed through the area, but after it fell into disrepair, it was purchased by the Chicago Bears player and Hall of Fame member Walter Payton. The center offers a wide array of comedy performances, live music and DJ events as well as a cognac bar and a full-service restaurant at the brewpub. Located close to downtown, nearby attractions include the Paramount Theatre and the museums on Stolp Island.
