SciTech Hands-On Museum seeks to instill a love of science, technology and learning in children of all ages through an expansive selection of interactive areas and displays. Visitors can learn about the forces behind electricity and magnetism, explore the tools and lifestyles of ancient civilizations, explore the exhibits in the outdoor science park and even learn some of the basic principles of subatomic physics. Special summer camps for children between the ages of six and twelve are offered, as are daily live science demonstrations for all visitors. Located downtown on Stolp Island, in the middle of the Fox River, the museum is close to the David L. Pierce Art & History Center.
